Military & Veterans
Organizational Development
-
We help organizations develop new or enhance existing procedures and programs for recruiting, hiring, and retaining service members, veterans, and their families. From creating a solid business plan with key stakeholders to fostering a welcoming and supportive organizational culture for veterans, we assist organizations at any stage of the process. Additionally, we can help design or improve individualized support programs within organizations and higher education institutions to better support service members and veterans and their families.

Workshops & Trainings

For over 17 years, our founder has trained organizations, law enforcement, government agencies, higher education institutions, and community members on service member reintegration through the BattleMind training. The BattleMind Plus training expands on the traditional program by covering aspects of military culture as well as the acculturation and training process. This two-hour presentation provides attendees with a deeper understanding of the military mindset. This training can be offered as a stand-alone presentation or combined with other training we offer.

Our founder has been delivering QPR training to various organizations, including government agencies, higher education institutions, veteran service providers, and community members since 2009. In this 90-minute training, attendees will gain a better understanding of the impact of suicide on service members and veterans, learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to ask the “suicide” question, ways to offer hope, persuade individuals to seek help, and understand the referral process for those in need to save a life. This training complements the BattleMind Plus program and can be taught on the same day."

Eagle Eye Consulting & Training is proud to partner with Dr. Beverly Prestwood-Taylor to offer a workshop on moral injury. Moral injury refers to the emotional and spiritual wounds that occur when individuals, such as combat veterans, are placed in situations where they either violate their own moral code or witness others doing so under difficult circumstances. This experience is not limited to veterans; professionals such as healthcare workers, teachers, firefighters, and police officers may also experience moral injury. In this workshop, we will explore how moral injury occurs and discuss various pathways for healing and recovery.
